
Now that I look back at this rug – as seen on Chicken street – those taxis have a certain dimensional charm – which certainly overwhelms the more subtle landscape…

I love this piece! The American Museum of Folk Art had a great lecture about War Rugs last year and this example would have fit in well.

Can anyone identify the location depicted on this rug? I have a nearly identical version, except mine has a border of buses instead of the taxis.
